My parents, Carl and Ed came out for New Year's. Roy & Heather threw a New Year's party at their church. The kids played basket ball and other games while the adults played board games and talked.
The highlight of the evening was the 2013 slide show and the annual awards ceremony. Our kids' awards were as follows:
Truman's fall soccer team was undefeated.
Eve ran a mile race and placed first in her age group.
Dexter's soccer team won first place in their division.
Graham learned to speak Spanish (started Spanish Immersion).
Laura ran her first race. She ran an entire mile without stopping and placed first in her age group.
Sitota took swim lessons for the first time.
I am so glad my kids have such fun uncles!

Our tradition is to go bowling first thing New Year's day. Bret won this year with a score of 161. Here's to a FABULOUS 2014!
