Family

 My dad was out last week and we hosted a family dinner at my place.  I wish my mom and other siblings were here too.  Above: Me with my dad and siblings.  Below: A few of the grandkids (the rest were off playing and we had no desire to chase them down for a picture).

Laura's Loose Tooth

Well over a year ago Laura jumped out of her crib and hit her tooth.  Her tooth was loose but did not fall out.  The dentist told us to keep the tooth in as long as possible as a spacer.  Yesterday Laura showed me her tooth and it was ready to come out.  Bret tied dental floss to the tooth.

The picture below was taken on the count of 3.  As you can see Bret quite enjoyed himself, I don't know about Laura.

Here she is, happy as can be!! She has been planning for over a year how she would present her tooth to the Tooth Fairy.  She was elated this morning that she got $2 instead of $1 for her tooth. (The Tooth Fairy gave her extra money because she did a SUPER job of keeping her tooth in when it was REALLY tempting for her to pull it out).
